The Charter Oak Chargers boys basketball team defeated the visiting Chino Cowboys by a score of 60-46. The Chargers, who were missing three starters Friday night, received the lion share of their scoring from senior forwards Reuben Carrillo and Chase Evans, who combined for 57 of the Chargers 60 points. Carrillo had a great shooting night hitting seven three pointers on route to a 26 point evening. His counterpart Evans, led all scorers with a game high 31 points. Evans was a force down low attracting much attention and spreading the court out for Carrillo.
The Chargers improve to 13-5 overall and 2-2 in league play. Chino stands at 6-15 overall and 0-4 in league. The Chargers go back on the road to face West Covina on Wednesday in an effort to finish the first half of league off with a win.
